Singapore Entry Visa

A Singapore entry visa is pre-entry permission to travel to, and seek entry at, a Singapore checkpoint. According to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), it is required only for nationals of certain listed countries — many nationalities are visa-free. Importantly, an entry visa is not a guarantee of entry and is separate from the immigration pass (such as a Short-Term Visit Pass) that an officer grants at the checkpoint, which is what actually sets your period of stay.
