Saudi Arabia tourist e-Visa explained
Saudi Arabia’s Tourist Visit Visa can be obtained online as an e-Visa by eligible nationals, and lets you explore the Kingdom and perform Umrah outside the Hajj season. This page explains the scheme in plain language, drawing on the official KSA Visa guidance; always use the official platform and confirm the routes open to your nationality.
The official KSA Visa platform
The tourist e-Visa is applied for through the official KSA Visa platform. Use only the official platform — look-alike third-party sites are not the government service.
Ways to get the tourist visa
According to KSA Visa, eligible (Group A) nationals can obtain the tourist visa as an e-Visa, as a visa on arrival, or through a Saudi embassy. It is also open to holders of a valid Schengen, US or UK visa, to permanent residents of the US, EU or UK, and to GCC residents, subject to the official conditions.
Single-entry and multiple-entry options
KSA Visa describes the tourist visa as available in a single-entry form valid for up to one month and a multiple-entry form valid for up to three months. Confirm the current validity and stay conditions for your nationality on the official platform before you apply.
Umrah on a tourist visa
Outside the Hajj season, eligible tourists may also perform Umrah on the Tourist Visit Visa. Hajj, and Umrah at other times, are arranged through the official Nusuk platform — check which route applies to you.
